Julia M. Yakovich, MPA, directs service learning and engagement initiatives for the University of Connecticut. In this role she is able to integrate her professional experiences and education to incorporate meaningful service learning coursework and projects for both the University and the community-at-large; non profit, government entities and business ventures alike. Yakovich ensures efficient and effective incorporation of service learning curricular strategies between university and partner stakeholders for mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships.

Garret Zastoupil, MA supports the development and implementation of service learning and its various initiatives at the University of Connecticut, under the direction of the program manager. His work aims to grow and sustain equitable and transformative service-learning partnerships between UConn and community partners through resource development, assessment, and program support.
Tugba Pazarbasi, is a result-oriented digital marketing and communications professional with a passion for helping OPE Service Learning to accelerate, maintain and grow their brand value via online platforms. She has over 8 years of experience in Communications, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Media Planning, Project Management and Business Development. She is currently doing her Full-Time MBA at the University of Connecticut School of Business and also supporting the School of Business’ Office of Communications as a graduate assistant.
