Our Program and Mission

Mission Statement:

This student-led program engages with local restaurants in the Greater Hartford Area to improve the community’s environmental and economic states through education and implementation of a university patented chemical process that converts grease pollution into high grade biofuel.

Program Trajectory:

We hope to complete surveying FSEs over the course of 2020 and 2021. With more data and research for reasons for noncompliance, we hope to continue to help FSEs properly dispose of grease in a way that is easy and efficient for them as well as environmentally and economically friendly for the community.
