Dr. Serebriakova has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Science from Tyumen State University, Russia. She received her Ph. D from the University of Connecticut. Serebriakova teaches the service-learning course, G-1302: “GIS Modeling of Environmental Change”. In this course students work with a number of community partners, such as, the Department of Community Development, Town of Granby, Farmington River Watershed Association and the Cromwell Water Pollution Control Authority, Town of Cromwell. Students completed a variety of projects including, a preserved farmland study and a watershed analysis of Lake Basile, to name only a few.
