Lake’s course, Critical Issues in Diversity and Multiculturalism includes community based service involvement with agencies that serve the aging population, victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and a community center that promotes cultural competence. Students will conduct research, identify under served populations, implement awareness initiatives and provide education to community service providers and members.
